Located in Southern Utah at the Hurricane Municipal Airport, America West Flight Training offers professional flight training tailored to your needs and at very competitive prices.
One of the main advantages in training with America West Flight Training is we operate mostly in non congested airspace, which means your flight instructor can concentrate his attention on your flight training rather than worrying about numerous other aircraft in the area or in the airport traffic pattern along with the associated delays.
Also, we incorporate the use of several airports in the area into your flight training which provides a variety of training experiences instead of getting used to just one airport. After all, one of the main benefits of learning to fly is the freedom it gives you to travel to other areas and airports.
Using airports such as St. George, Cedar City, Colorado City, Henderson and others helps you learn the skills to operate from narrow short runways as well as long wide runways.
America West Flight Training's flight instructors are experienced pilots and are able to tailor your training program to fit your individual needs and circumstances. In our opinion, this is a much better way of training than putting each student through the same highly structured training program. Our flight instructors have taught students from age 16 to 70 years old and as a Part 61 flight school, our training programs are flexible, while still meeting the Federal Aviation Administration requirements for the particular certificate or rating you are seeking.
